In a stressed and hurried world, Kimchi Just for Fun is all about slowing down and doing things solely for 소확행—the small but certain happiness it brings.Kyung-yeon first began making kimchi in 2019, a tradition widely understood as Korean but not commonly practiced anymore. As a Korean adoptee, preserving Korean history and culture often feels important yet heavy, so it was heartening when Kyung-yeon discovered that kimchi-making could be a space for playfulness and fun.Our kimchi holds traditional and creative elements inspired by Kyung-yeon's SoCal roots, her travels across Korea, and a desire to experience delight every day!
